Colorectal Surgeon

Dr Asiri Arachchi is a specialist Colorectal Surgeon trained in Australasia. He has completed training in General Surgery (FRACS) and further subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery which included completing the prestigious colorectal training program CSSANZ (Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand). His subspecialty training was at high volume colorectal units at Monash Health Victoria, Austin Health Victoria, North Shore Hospital Auckland and Christchurch Hospital. The breadth of training encompassed all aspects of colorectal surgery including benign and malignant colorectal resection, pelvic exenteration, proctology, endometriosis, gynae-oncology, pelvic floor and endoscopy. Dr Arachchi has proficiency in laparoscopic (key-hole), open and robotic surgery.
